The first time I saw @jammalibrahim oscreen, I left thinking: This is someone I need to pay attention to. Every project I watched since then has reinforced that impression.

In the latest issue of @thecreators_backend, Jammal speaks honestly about:
How film gradually replaced the music career he thought he wanted
The accidental audition that made him an actor
Why having other sources of income gave him the freedom to wait for the right roles
How production and acting shaped the way he directed #thealmajiri and the kind of stories he wants to tell next
Learning what to fight for and what to release as a first-time feature director

This issue is for every creative whose journey has not followed a straight line, but who is beginning to see how every experience has prepared them for what comes next.

The eighth issue of The Creator’s Backend is out now. Read via the link in bio!
