RIP Steve Cropper
I was fortunate enough to hang out with him back in July 2024 when we were doing a photo shoot at Michael Weintrob studio. Steve's family was filming sections of a documentary about his life.

He even brought his 1968 Grammy from Sitting on the Dock of the Bay with Otis Redding

He was a very cool guy and had some fine stories indeed!!
About 10 years ago, he was loading up his gear and rested the Peavey guitar on the back bumper of the car. After he loaded some other gear into the vehicle, he backed out, heard a loud crunch and realized he'd just run over it! (picture below)
Interestingly enough it still worked!

Today November 10th is the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
My grandfather worked on these ships starting as first mate and became captain of many of the ships. Though he never worked on the Edmund Fitzgerald he did know many of the crew who went down with the ship. My grandparents were really good friends with the captain, even traveling on a vacation to Ireland with the him and his wife.
Here's a couple photographs in front of the last boat he captained. (My grandfather is in black)

Samantha, David and I went to the first pre-season Predators game yesterday. They ended up winning the first game 5-0 against last year's Stanley cup winner Florida Panthers .
They also beat them at the second game 5-3 too! by @jammon321
