Where medicine meets music 🎶🩺

JAM University Council member Dr. Ahmadolla Abdelrahimsai recently celebrated his retirement as Senior Physician at Sanatorium Hera at the @concert_bar of the C. Bechstein Centrum Vienna. Colleagues from the medical world and artists from @jammusiclab came together for a warm evening filled with music, conversation and new connections. ✨

And the music continues: the Concert Bar will host 6 concerts a week, including performances by musicians from @jammusiclab and the @guldaschool.music.wien . We are delighted to share this stage with our partner @c.bechstein_wien ! 🎹

@jammusiclab invites you to watch the future of jazz - live from Paris tonight! 🎙️✨

At 19:30 Vienna time, the finalists of the 2026 Herbie Hancock Institute International Jazz Vocals Competition take the stage, followed by an All-Star Gala Concert with @herbiehancock and leading artists from the international jazz scene.

JAM shares a long-standing connection with the @hancockinstitute and its mission to nurture the next generation of jazz artists. The competition is produced by JAM’s own Jeff Levenson (@jeffreylevenson ) , while the gala’s Musical Director John Beasley (@johnbeasleyofficial ) has shared his experience with our students through workshops at JAM. Last summer, we were also delighted to welcome the Institute’s Vice President Dr. JB Dyas.

Tune in tonight and celebrate the new voices shaping the future of jazz! 🎶

A warm evening, proud faces and the feeling that something new is beginning. 🎓✨

Together, we celebrated the graduates of @jammusiclab and the @guldaschool.music.wien - musicians, educators and creative minds ready for their next chapter.

Graduation may mark the end of your studies, but it is not the end of our support. Our doors and our community remain open, and we cannot wait to hear about your music, projects and successes that lie ahead.

Congratulations to all our graduates! ❤️
