Such a pleasure to work with Una Healy her new song 'This Is Your Life'!

It's a song about making mistakes, coming out the other side and learning from them, ultimately making you stronger, experienced and thankful. I tried to reflect that in the production and arrangement as much as possible, moving the song through different stages and acts. Towards the end theres a quick reflection back to the past before it moves to the final act.

Some things on my phone from music in 2016. A diverse collection here finding myself in the middle of the @rteconcertorchestra with @liamlawtonireland and working with @hailtheghost and @matthew_gilsenan with Jimmy McCarthy. There’s also a jam during a break with the @the_strypes_official during a recording session and a group photo of the band @dropsofgreen I found. #2016 #2016throwback❤️ #2016❤️ #2016music #2016musicians taken in JAM Studios by @jamstudios.ie

Friday’s quartet session - this is the sound of moving the bow gradually back towards the bridge on the instrument (Sul Ponticello) while playing the same note as a tremolo at the same time. Pretty cool sound @leinsterstringquartet 🕶️This is from an unfinished and unreleased @solidrawk track called ‘Miss You’. 🎧#recordingstudio #stringquartett #composerlife #producerlife #behindthescenes taken in JAM Studios by @jamstudios.ie
