“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to HIM, and HE will make your paths straight” Proverbs 3:5-6 Today, I am not only counting years, I am examining what those years have produced in me. I have learned that growing older is automatic, but growing wiser, kinder, and closer to God is a choice. Some prayers were answered exactly as I hoped. Others were answered through closed doors, painful lessons, unexpected delays, and the quiet strength to keep going. Looking back, I now understand that God’s presence was not limited to my happiest moments, HE was equally present in the seasons I struggled to understand. I am less concerned with proving that I have arrived and more committed to becoming the person God created me to be. I do not have every answer, but I have evidence of HIS faithfulness. I do not know everything this new decade will bring, but I know who will walk through it with me. My prayer is that the years ahead will not simply make me older, but deeper in faith, clearer in purpose, richer in character, and more intentional with the life I have been given. I thank my parents, siblings, and friends for being there for me. I enter this chapter with gratitude for what was, peace about what is, and faith for what is still to come. -Jamundo by @jamundo.art
