Jamiliah is a creative visionary that I've been so lucky to collaborate with over the past few years. Her art always inspires me & she's just a beautiful & kind human🥰

I was so honored & a bit nervous when she trusted me with this concept, there were lots of important little details that I really needed to nail (pun intended) to bring this to life & truly represent the meaning behind this set.

Denim - using the color to represent the indigo plantations the Gullah Geechee people were on
Dark lip liner - something commonly seen on Black women

IB my “Jamila” perfume by Swiss Arabian. Peep the Arabic translation to my name on the bridge of my nose🤭 The spelling of my real name is rare so I had to go with what it means “beautiful.” Can you believe I thought this was too simple😅?
