For the 62nd mix in the Set the Mood series, SKARÆ shares his vision of the perfect opening set. To him, it is a slow burn that moves like a journey, rising and falling in energy and rhythm while keeping a steady hypnotic flow. It is about setting the right tone, building anticipation, and guiding the crowd into the night 🎶

At just 23 years old, the Culemborg-based producer and DJ is known for his thoughtful and dynamic approach to sound. Every track is chosen with care, creating room for rich textures and unexpected moments. His goal is simple yet powerful: draw listeners in, keep them grounded on the dance floor, and leave them curious for what comes next 🎧

SKARÆ is a 23-year-old producer and DJ from Culemborg. Best known for his energetic techno sets, he takes a different route for Coffee Collective, exploring the grey space between house, electro, and techno.

Staying lower in BPM than usual, SKARÆ shifts focus toward groove and percussive detail—trading peak-time intensity for a deeper, more rhythmic flow. It’s a thoughtful detour that still carries his signature drive.

Meet SKARÆ, a 22 year old artist coming from Culemborg, Netherlands. His sound is mainly composed of deep, hypnotic, experimental techno & electro, building up to percussion heavy, driving techno.

Though he may switch through different styles, he always likes to maintain a natural flow in his music selection.

Having recently played in venues like @clubbasis @cultuurpodiumperron & @levenslang.amsterdam for the first time, he is building his career step by step.

WTF WAS THAT!?

The energy of the crowd was truly IMMACULATE and I couldn't have wished for a better result.

Opening this night and watching the room fill up with people after only half an hour of playing was truly the best I could hope for. This for me really showed the power of community❤️

This is honestly such a full circle moment for me. Basis was the first techno club I ever went to so to me it felt really crazy to stand in the booth Im always watching from the other side.

I want to thanks everybody that came early to enjoy the music & vibes🫂

Playing in the garden of Eden: ✅

@oefenmeesters X @uptheroad030 did an amazing job turning this beloved spot in Utrecht into a true dancers paradise.
The energy of this crowd was so raw & pure and I will always cherish this one in my heart. 🖤
