Oh my, my heart is so overwhelmed. Viewing myself in these photos. What an explosion of emotions. I am going to become a Mother. My heart, Jesus.

The immense gratitude I carry in my heart to be able to create life. When I separate myself from the world, where it’s at in this moment. Time stops for me and I feel so divine. The act of my body creating life is the most miraculous thing I’ve ever done. The process one endures through it, omg as women… we are pure magic - heaven - earth & everything in between. We are the closest to God. I have been the closest to God in this time.

What a beautiful experience it has been. My baby boy made me into a beautiful mother, Truly so blessed for the love that carried me, surrounded me, and was created inside me through these 9 months. I can’t even imagine what it will feel like when I finally get to meet him in person. The thought alone overwhelms me and floods me because I am aware of my transition, my ascension to motherhood and parenthood. I’ve been beyond blessed to not have to do this journey alone. I pray over my family and look forward to the abundance God graces me with always.

I’m really out of words, but I dedicate this song to my wonderfully made son. I can’t believe my baby really has me looking like this. Lol I will miss my belly. Even though I ammmm sooo looking forward to having my body back.

I did something 🫶🏽 - first & foremost; to those who fasted for Ramadan, “Eid Mubarak.”
.
It was an honor to join in the fasting this year for me. I am not Muslim, but I believe in Christ 💚 & I’ve always been fascinated about it when I first learned about Ramadan. I was in complete aw with the discipline & the obedience. Now I can say, I did it myself. I followed my own rules, but for the most part I honored not eating during sun up & eating after sun down. I met with my God & leaned in to my personal relationship with him. These past 30 days have been nothing but the most beautiful, humbling, graceful & heart opening days. I’ve never challenged myself like this. I abstained from everything that is instant gratification for me. I removed all the things that are of this world, that I go to for distraction or satisfaction. I worshiped, I prayed, I loved, I worked out, I gave grace in every meal, I cooked, I created, I wrote, I read & more importantly I felt so worthy, so righteous, so much peace! Not easy but the peace that surrounded me. Such a soft space for me. God was so present all the time with me.

It’s wild honestly. My lover, my best friends literally all traveled during this time & I was left in self isolation & wow - bliss - just beautiful. I had no distractions. No vices. Just more space for God and I. I appreciate & truly am grateful for my friends & loved one who allowed me the space & honored me along the way. Who would break bread with me at 7:30ish, who pushed me & supported me through this. As it was a journey I embarked solely on my own.

I showed myself so much mercy, grace and above all sooo much love. I realized I am sooo worthy & I can do anything I put my mind too. My determination and discipline 🤌🏽. Doing that for myself was the most selfless act of self love.
.
Prior to that - I was beyond hurt at the beginning of embarking this & after crying and spiraling I said nope. I will not keep doing the same thing expecting different results. I didnt know where to start but I knew I needed to change some things & I prayed & I chose God because I’ve been chosen by him! I needed him! & wow 30 days later. I am here, spirit cleansed 💚 taken in Redefining Vulnerability by @jamzz_____
