I love sunflowers too although I have never grown a giant. Some of them get eaten by slugs, they climb right to the top. I haven’t seen a slug for ages….. by @jan943680

My garden is as dry as a crisp but I still love it. The bees are all over the Echinops grown from seed two years ago. I have some tiny sunflowers and cosmos that may or may not reach maturity ! The roses up the end are re blooming and don’t seem to mind the heat. Trying to bring some life back after two weeks away…… by @jan943680

When we go down to Cornwall we always stop at the Hog and Hedge for breakfast as it is dog friendly. They always have a lovely display of wild flowers. It’s amazing but nobody stopped to look at them…. by @jan943680
