« La voix, parfois, ça ne suffit pas. » Dans ce nouvel épisode d’« En studio avec », Charles Doré (@charlesdore) revient sur la fabrication de son premier album, « À l’équilibre ». Un disque né dans l’élan, le doute, et l’envie de ne pas se laisser enfermer dans le rôle pour lequel il avait d’abord été repéré : la performance vocale en prime time.
Avec Jan Ghazi (@jan_ghazi) à la direction artistique, il raconte la fabrique d’un premier disque collectif. L’envie de créer de la variété moderne. Puis la rencontre avec une équipe de production, des auteurs, des musiciens. Et la bascule en studio où l’on commence à écouter autrement : les arrangements, les instruments, le potentiel caché de chaque chanson. L’envie, enfin, d’écrire lui-même ses chansons.
On ouvre ensemble deux titres : « Si demain tout s’arrête », d’abord, pour entendre une maquette piano-voix devenir plus ample, plus tendue, et plus efficace dans les mains du réalisateur Caméléon (@cameleon.mp3). Puis « Tout seul », un texte de solitaire où il se découvre leader rock.
Un premier album, comme un apprentissage. Celui d’un jeune chanteur qui, en studio, trouve sa voie. Vers la musique.

Auteur-compositeur-interprète et musicien, Marco Ferreira délivre une indie chanson boisée, moderne et résolument minimaliste.

À 24 ans, il n’a pas besoin d’en faire des tonnes pour faire entendre sa voix au grain singulier et sa personnalité. Nageant à contre-courant de l’ultraproduction, sa proposition est en elle-même une audace.

Coécrit avec Clou, « Le Vœu », son premier single paru le 24.09.25, qu’il compose et réalise lui-même, dessine le tempérament d’un Tamino franco-portugais. Guitare/voix délicat, le morceau vrille en libérant des cordes morriconesques avant de revenir à l’intensité du dénuement.

Transparence et opacité des textes, onctuosité et rugosité de la musique, légèreté et noirceur des chansons : c’est dans ces contrastes que Marco Ferreira se révèle.

We went through how A&Rs and managers discover talent these days, and what makes an artist stand out in 2025. It’s not about sending demos or cold emails out of nowhere. What matters is knowing your direction, what you want and network 🌏🔁

« The Whole World Is My Home », my new song, has had multiple originators. First of all my oldest friend Philippe Lebihan (@plb779) who offered me a valuable piece of gear: the not so vintage Boss Me08 guitar multi-effect. I quickly found very inspiring late 90’s effect presets which led me to the simple riffs of the songs. After trying to unsuccessfully plug this instrumental to various artists I decided to do something with it myself. At this point I wasn’t so inspired for melody and lyrics so I asked the genius Michiel Renson (@mixmeister_michelle) who gave me in a couple hours the solution with a trippy melody and hippie fueled lyrics which fitted me perfectly. Then my musical mentor Stephane « Alf » Briat (@davoniro) accepted to mix it instead of me not giving it its full potential by poorly mixing it. Naturally I then asked the talented and long time friend Antoine « Chab » Chabert (@chabmastering) to give to the final shine to Alf’s work. At the end of this process, I went back to Philippe to ask for a photo for the artwork. The image chosen by him made sense with the other images I already used, photos by my wife Anne (@anneghz) for « A Rose » and from my sensei and cousin JP (@jp_plunier) for « Blues At Dawn ». All these people involved gave me the energy to try to do a video with the creative help of Marco Ferreira (@marcoferreiranelo) and Nina Versyp (@ninaversyp) as well as my son Kim (@k1mikimkimi) for a fun early 2k styled video edited by Marco. A lot of love to all of them.. by @jan_ghazi

I am super excited to present my new song written with the master of the Free Tribe, Michiel Renson (@mixmeister_michelle) who gave me melody and lyrics. I was lucky to have it mixed by legendary Alf (@davoniro) and mastered by Grammy awarded Chab (@chabmastering).
