That first six weeks goes by in an instant guys. Here are some of my favorite recent images from a Newborn Day in the Life documentary session with @jessmarak and her super adorable family. They have a gorgeous colorful home which made the photos even more fun and lively. I always include an heirloom photo album with each of these sessions because what new mom (or old mom, really - it's me, hi, I'm the problem...) has time to even print a photo? I want to poke my own eye out for using the word vibes, but...I mean, FALL VIBES right here. Pregnant women are gorgeous, period. Just look at this beautiful woman! I love getting creative with all of you soon-to-be mamas. Fall is my favorite season and rain in SoCal makes me deliriously happy.

Also, I'm booked until next year guys. If you are a current or past client, I saved one or two spots (DM me), but they won't last. ;)

This is the 3rd year in a row I've done a documentary family session for this gorgeous family and I can't wait until their shelves are filled to the brim with photo albums from each session. I still like to take a few minutes for casual portraits like these during each documentary session if time allows. Three down, forever to go.

One last run through the sprinklers before summer slips away. Bare feet, wet grass, two little girls running as fast as they can.

These are the memories I love to capture during documentary family sessions. Photographed with the cutest clients during a walk home from the coffee shop. A neighbor's sprinklers were on for about 3 minutes and these cuties went for it.

Goodbye summer, I'm ready for sweaters and hot cocoa 💖

When clients say..."you have free reign, we trust you completely..." That midday sun, those public buildings, the harsh shadows. It all becomes art and creativity and flow. It also helps when your clients are literally gorgeous 😍. I only photograph weddings and elopements for a select few, but photos like these always make me want to do more!

Tiny toes should honestly come with a warning label, (may cause sudden heart melting and an uncontrollable urge to take 800 photos).

This sweet baby is part of one of my first-year bundles, which basically means I get to show up throughout the year and catch all the good stuff - new wrinkles, new rolls, new personalities. The tiny things that become the big things.

Here’s to the baby toes stage… may it linger just a little longer.
