Reading is quite literally building new neural pathways, and my latest find is doing some serious construction.

We like to think we have total agency over our health by “eating well,” but this book exposes how the entire system is rigged against us. It finally connects the dots on why so many of us are dealing with persistent “phantom” illnesses.

If you think you know how nutrition works, you might want to rethink it. Has anyone else read this?

Why do I even have to have this conversation is beyond me? Seriously there are billionaires out there and then there’s people that keep trying to ask if they can just get work for free.

Really ? In this society? I have a college degree plus multiple certifications none of that was for free so why should I work for you for free? by @janasack

The gift that keeps giving, literature. Today I gave my father this book knowing that he enjoys reading (listening due to eyesight).

I gifted this book because what is crucial to my family is having robust conversations whether we agree or disagree. Learning is a lifelong endeavor.

Today is one of many days I feel full body pain. It ebbs and flows like a trickling river in spring. We were never given a handbook to aging and how it would effect us.

Maybe now I should buy stock in Ibuprofen medication, since that seems to be the only solution that and rest.

On these days I’m less inclined to socialize but rather sit and find solace in reading a book. Thinking way too much about the pain, and how after each moment I wish it would just leave my body alone so my mind can focus on other things.
