this night was filled with magic & easily one of my favorite memories of the summer.

i grew up in a small town out west and i remember back to the first time i traveled east as a kid. the air was hotter and humid. and for the first time i saw a firefly. to me it was pure magic. i couldn’t believe we live in a world where humans and creatures like that co-exist.

now in my 20s, i live in tennessee, and i was reminded of that very first time i saw a firefly. so, this night was about bringing back that feeling of childlike wonder.

effortlessly, i feel everything @themanthemyththemeatslab

i love this song so much and it felt like the right fit to share this story <3 by @janayapardo
