Grateful to Don Bell for these two special paintings that took me back more than 35 years.

Reflecting on the Bush War, I cannot help but pondering the quote, "war does not determine who won, it only determines who is left"

I salute everyone soldier that fell in all these senseless wars. by @janbesterswartberg

Just over a year ago, I started training @blackmountain_crossfit

What began as a challenge has become something I genuinely look forward to — and along the way, I’ve come to appreciate what the words “Pressure is a privilege” really mean.

A huge shout-out to our incredible coach, @melverlinde_fit, who continually challenges and motivates us to become the best “veterans” we can be.

Never before have I been this motivated to train, push myself and keep improving. The combination of the CrossFit philosophy, an amazing community and a coach who leads by example has made all the difference.

@melverlinde_fit, thank you for your passion, dedication and unwavering commitment.

Your energy and example inspire us to push a little harder, go a little further and believe that we are capable of more than we think.

Pressure is a privilege — and I’m grateful for every bit of it! taken in Black Mountain CrossFit by @janbesterswartberg
