Labor Day weekend in Charleston, SC with my babe! 🤎✨

A little recap of our 4th of July weekend in Duvaaal! ❤️🤍💙

Jay, the pups, and I had such an amazing time visiting family. We walked over 5,000 steps exploring downtown, checked out a local market, and I finally got my favorite matcha which was absolutely ❤️‍🔥.

One of the highlights was celebrating my beautiful mom’s birthday on the 4th of July. Later that evening, we enjoyed so much delicious food at my in-laws’ house and, most importantly, spent quality time with family. Those moments together are what make trips like these so special.

We’re so grateful for all the laughs, conversations, and memories we made this weekend. we already can’t wait to see everyone again! ❤️

And a very special Happy Birthday to my sister! 🥳 I hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and all the happiness you deserve. Love you! 💕

🍜🥤🌯 New favorite spot unlocked! @taichibubbletea

Today Jay and I tried Taichi Bubble Tea, Ramen & Poke Bowl in Augusta, and it was a solid 10/10! 🙌🏾

I had the Shrimp Sushi Burrito and WOW… absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and filling. I already know I’ll be ordering that again and again. 😍🌯

Jay had the Chicken Ramen and really enjoyed it. 🍜 I paired my meal with a Honeydew Matcha Smoothie, and Jay had a Strawberry Green Tea. Both drinks were refreshing and the perfect complement to our meals. 🧋

The food was great, I loved the aesthetics, and it was definitely worth the visit. ✨

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and freedom of those who came before us and paved the way for future generations.

Hubby and I rode our bikes this morning, enjoying the beautiful weather and reflecting on how blessed we are. Days like today remind me that it feels good to be Black, to honor where we come from, and to appreciate the sacrifices and perseverance of those who helped make this freedom possible.

Today is our anniversary, and instead of sleeping in, we laced up our shoes, put on our helmets, and hit the trail. 🚴🏾‍♀️🚴🏾‍♂️

Six miles may not sound like much to some people, but for me, those hills were no joke! 😅

I pushed through, had fun, challenged myself, and spent the morning making memories with my husband. That’s what this season of life is all about for me, choosing experiences over things, trying new adventures together, and appreciating the little moments that become lasting memories.

I’m grateful for my best friend/Hubby!

A little pre-anniversary getaway before the official celebration on Monday! ❤️🖤💚🥰

Sometimes it’s not about a big trip or a packed itinerary. It’s about slowing down and enjoying each other’s company. We spent the weekend in Atlanta with our babies 🐾, checked into the Kimpton Shane, explored the city, looked at bikes, enjoyed one of the best massages we’ve ever had, ate some good food, and simply enjoyed being present.

Life gets busy, schedules get full, and responsibilities never seem to stop. Moments like these remind me how important it is to pause, reconnect, laugh, and create memories together.

Thirteen years of marriage later, and I’m still grateful for the man beside me. Here’s to all the little moments that end up meaning the most. ❤️🥂

The real anniversary celebration is Monday, but this was the perfect way to start it.

Date day with my hubby at SUEA and WOW!!! 20/10 experience! 🤯🔥

From the moment we walked in, everything was top tier. The atmosphere was beautiful, the decor was stunning, and even the bathrooms were immaculate. But let’s talk about the FOOD! 😍

The oysters with caviar were hands down the BEST oysters we’ve ever had. Every single nibble (appetizer) was packed with flavor, and the Thai dishes were absolutely phenomenal. No exaggeration… this is the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life. 👏🏾🇹🇭

If you’re in Augusta and looking for an unforgettable dining experience, put SUEA at the top of your list. Every bite was worth it, and we’ll definitely be back!

I just made some 🔥 Hot Lemon Pepper Wings 🍋🔥

You can see the herbs, the pepper, that glossy buttery lemon sauce… and listen, they are CRISPY. No flour, no batter needed 👏🏽

Here’s the recipe ⬇️

✨ Ingredients:
• Party wings
• Vinegar
• Salt & pepper
• Garlic herb (no salt)
• Lemon pepper seasoning
• Dry parsley (optional)
• Hot sauce
• Cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
• Butter (a few tablespoons)
• Olive oil
• Organic unrefined coconut oil (for frying)

✨ Instructions:
1. Clean your wings really well with cold water, vinegar, and fresh lemon juice. Rinse a few times and pat them COMPLETELY dry.
2. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat coconut oil to 350°F (do not go lower or higher).
4. Drop wings in temperature and they will naturally drop, that’s normal. Adjust slightly if needed.
5. Fry until golden, crispy, and floating. Internal temp should be 165°F.

✨ Sauce:
In a bowl, mix:
• Lemon pepper seasoning
• Salt & pepper (if you want extra)
• Garlic powder
• Dry Parsley
• Melted butter (unsalted)
• Hot sauce
• Cayenne (optional)
• Drizzle of olive oil

6. Toss hot wings straight into the sauce after removing excess oil.
7. Mix well and serve immediately 🔥

Crispy. Juicy. Flavor packed. On Point!!!
