🌍 What Is B Corp? - Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies which have been verified to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. We are assessed and evaluated on our practices and outputs across five categories: governance, workers, community, the environment, and customers.

🌍 How Many B Corps Are There? - There are 52 Certified B Corps in Ireland and over 9000 worldwide across 96 countries. Each of us have the same goal and shared vision - ‘to harness the power of business to transform our economic system to benefit all people and the planet’. JANDO are the first artists and printmakers in Ireland to have received certification.

🌍 Why B-Corp? - From day one, sustainability has been at the core of our business, with a focus on becoming as sustainable as possible by making gradual changes whenever and wherever we could.
Becoming B Corp Certified means that we become part of a global community that share our eco-conscious values and commitment to doing good for people and the planet.

🌍 How Long Did Certification Take? - Our journey to become B Corp Certified was a process almost a year in the making.

🌍 What’s Next? - Becoming a Certified B Corp is just the beginning as we work towards a more sustainable and ethically conscious future. Together, step by step, we really can make a difference. 💚

🍂 The days are getting shorter and our weather is doing its usual ‘all over the shop’ thing. So, if you’re looking for something a little different to try this autumn then grab a pal and come spend a couple of hours getting creative with us in the JANDO studio.

🎨 Our 2 hour print workshops are totally beginner friendly. We’ll show you the ropes, you’ll get hands on pulling your own print and leave with your very own JANDO masterpiece to take home with you.

With workshops running every weekend throughout October + November, come join us in the studio for loads of colour, a bit of craic and a chance to try something new this autumn. We can’t wait to have you over to our place!

⚡️September was our busiest month to date and it was only when we started to look back, that we actually realised how mental it was. And how we know for sure? There’s almost zero pics of the two of us together! 😂😂 Between workshops, live activations, gigs, etc, it was hectic! 🗓️ CANNOT BELIEVE WE ARE INTO THE FINAL PHASE OF THE YEAR!!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫

🫶 The prints are only part of it. One of the things we love most about our workshops is hearing what brought you guys along.

🩷 Aisling and her family joined us on Saturday night for a very wholesome and emotional 30th birthday celebration. This was one of those moments that reminded us that what we do is about so much more than prints.

👰‍♀️🤵🏻Natalia & Darren joined us to celebrate their first (paper) wedding anniversary and made their own prints to add to the growing JANDO collection already in their home.

🎂 Emily celebrated her 18th birthday with her two aunts, who travelled all the way from Donegal to join us.

🐣 Friends Debs and Paula joined us for a little time together before baby number two arrives in just a few weeks.

Everyone comes through our studio doors for a different reason. It’s what makes these workshops what they are, and why we love doing them so much. 🩷

What started as something we were excited to try and see where it went has become one of the best things we’ve ever done together and is easily our favourite part of what we do! We absolutely love welcoming you guys into our studio every week. A massive THANK Y🩷U to everyone who’s joined us over the last 12 months. You’ve made the workshops what they are, and we can’t wait to see what year two brings! 🩷
