It's hard to believe it's been over two years since we added our @serenaandlily Balboa counter stools to our kitchen! They were the finishing touch to our remodel and gave this space the “wow” moment it needed 💙 Since then, I've received more questions about these stools than anything else we have in our home, so today over on the blog I'm answering all the questions, including how well they've held up, pros and cons, and whether or not I would recommend them. (Spoiler alert—the answer is yes! 😉) I’d love to have you stop by! Have a wonderful rest of your day! 💙💙

Last year's guest bathroom makeover was one of my favorite home projects—not only were we able to update this space on a budget, it was so nice to have it refreshed and ready for all the family gatherings we’ve hosted over the last few weeks! 😅 Next up is our master bathroom remodel! So far, my husband has removed our big corner tub, the vanities, and all the old tile. Even though it's bare and empty right now, it already looks better! I’ll keep you posted in my stories as we move along! Have a wonderful rest of your day! 💙💙

I haven’t shared this view of our kitchen in a while, but honestly not much has changed in here since we finished our renovation! ☺️ I’m still so happy with how it turned out —and we’re loving the lighter, brighter feeling in this space! (In case you need a reminder of what it looked like before, swipe left!)

In other news, over on the blog I’m sharing 10 simple ways to add a touch of spring to your home, and I’d love to have you stop by! Have a wonderful rest of your day! 💕

Looking forward to the day when we can look out those windows and see green again! In the meantime, I'll just be over here with my slipcovers and whites and stripes pretending it's summer! 🙄 What little things do you do to get you through the colder months? I'd love to know! 💙💙⁣

I hope you’re having a wonderful week! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with fresh flowers in the kitchen! And we have lots to celebrate this week as our younger daughter and her husband welcomed their sweet baby boy to the world on Sunday! Needless to say, we're over the moon! Have a wonderful rest of your day! 💙💙

Top on my wish list for this year is updating our master bathroom. Right now, we have a big corner tub (which we never use 🙄) and brown tile everywhere! Needless to say, I'm ready to lighten things up, so I've been gathering inspiration over on Pinterest--and this beautiful bathroom from @studiomcgee caught my eye! I love the wall faucets, sconces, and calming blue (Polaris Blue by Benjamin Moore) cabinetry. What's your favorite feature in this lovely space? 💙💙⁣

Happy 2021! I took a little break over the holidays to relax and spend time with our family, but I’m excited to get back in the swing of things!
⁣
I have a few fun projects planned for this year, including revamping our dining room and finding a larger table for our growing family! 😊 Do you have any home projects planned for 2021? 💙💙⁣
