#”Coming Through” is a highly textured, layered acrylic painting measuring 12”x16”. The random forms peeping through remind me of this winters’ extensive snow storm piles melting and finding objects poking out!

Here’s the 11th painting from the “ Pandora’s Out of the Box” series. This one is 18”x24” acrylic and alcohol ink mediums on canvas finished with a gloss medium, which gives it a depth. It explores the relationship of a hardedge cube with plant forms suspended in space.

Pandora’s curiosity led her to unleash all the evils of the world from the box that Zeus gave her, except when she realized what happened she quickly closed the box and kept hope inside as a potential solace. by @janedell

Pandora’s Box-Out of the Box10. I started out thinking of all the “evils” that escaped when Pandora opened the forbidden box, but began imagining some wonderful things that do exist in the universe besides “hope”.
