Dad,
Today marks 15 years without you and I have missed you every day. I always think about what little time we had together, but I see you everywhere. I have your smile, your eyes, your laugh, and your booming voice with an inability to speak quietly. I carry you with me wherever I go. Whenever someone says they knew you, they can’t hide how much their eyes tell me you’re missed. And I have never met someone without a story to tell. You filled every room you went in with your voice, your positivity, your humor, your loyal, kind, and lovable spirit that charmed everyone. No words can describe the feeling of losing that. I try every day to be half the person that you were. It is an honor to be your daughter. I love you, Dad.
Love,
