First time at ube fest and this will now be a yearly visit for me! It was just as packed as these popular food festivals. I suggest going when they open or before dinner to avoid really long lines! After we ordered food we waited in another without wasting time. Everything I ate was actually a 10/10 and recommend to try these booth out at ube fest πŸ˜‹. I’ve had the burger ghoul before when they had a pop up and the longanisa breakfast sandwich is a must try! Really liked tatay ry’s bbq but wish it was on a bigger plate bc it was pretty packed for how much we got πŸ˜…. D baker’s lab by anj was so good it had me wishing they had an actual cafe open to come back to :’). Lastly, bread and butter is based in Fresno but they’re here for ube fest and I wish they had a shop here too! All their breads were amazinggg. Whenever I come here there’s not many people and they deserve more love! Everything is honestly really good and my recommendations for drinks is their banana matcha, tiramisu coffee, ube coco, & yogurt drinks ☺️. Each platter comes with dips and a pita bread! My bfs favorite was the seafood mix platter and mine was the chicken wrap πŸ˜‹. Everything was super good and with huge portions! The taziki and hummus were also πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ‘ŒπŸΌ. Come celebrate Ube Fest’s 5th year at the Cerritos Center and it’s going to be one of their biggest ones yet! Their last event was Mango Fest, but now they’ll be having both this weekend πŸ₯­! We always like to try new vendors and my favorite was @cafe949 :p. We got the lobster rolls and fish balls and they were both really good and I neeeed to try more of their menu items. They’ll also be at the OC Japan Fair (10/16-18) if you can’t catch them this weekend! If you’re looking for sisig, I recommend @socal_sisig as I mentioned in the last video it’s a must! @ensaymadaproject I’ve had before at Malaya Coffee in Silverlake so I came back to try more flavors :) (if you were wondering, the flavor is not filled) Just a few highlights but everything was amazing 🀩 . I tried mostly new vendors this time and one that stood out to me was @frylipino because I love their crispy fries and the seasonings but also haven’t seen them at other events before :p. We always almost go back to @socal_sisig because of the portion & one of the best I’ve had! Another one we love and had to go back to was @senyorluisdemalabon.usa for their lychill lychee drink it’s honestly super refreshing and not overly sweet! MUST-TRY NEW CAFE IN SD πŸ“ Cafe Noelle | Little Italy SD, CA This is a sister cafe of Cafe Alessie (downtown)! There’s also plenty of seating space but located outside :). I love that their syrups are made in house which makes them so much better in my opinion! We also got full unexpectedly fast so I’d say the dishes are pretty filling. One of the best Italian spots I’ve tried so far. My favorite was the chicken alfredo pizza w/ well done as recommended by our server :). They have different fresh juices daily, so make sure to ask when you visit!
