I realized I’ve never really introduced myself here.

I’m looking to connect with like minded moms. It’s hard to know if you want to connect if you don’t know anything about each other.

Here’s a bit about me - I am 44 and a mom to 3 great kids. My oldest is 20, you probably won’t see much of her on here. My youngest two are 7 and 4. 👱🏼‍♀️👦🏻👧🏼

We are a hybrid homeschool family. P/T RV family. We travel during the winter to get out of the Michigan cold and into the mountains. ⛰️
I love hiking. Yeah for being out west in the winter.

My other favorite hobby is horseback riding. I don’t own a horse currently but after we settled from P/T RVing it’s my plan to get one again. Actually, I look forward to homesteading in the future. 👩🏻‍🌾

The weirdest thing about me is prob that I don’t drink coffee. I like how it tastes but not how it makes me feel.

I’m crunchy, as in, I try to keep our house as toxic-free as possible. And we eat healthy.

Previously a single mom for 11 years, I have been married to the love of my life for 9 years. 😘🦊

Former Jr. High teacher 👩‍🏫

Novice Gardner 🌱

Former MLM-er

I am a Christian but probably not like one you’ve meet before. ♥️

I actually enjoy working out daily & look forward to it.🏋🏼‍♀️

I wish I did my hair and makeup daily, even regularly, but l’ve come to accept that’s just not me and prob never will be. It’s only done in this picture bc we actually had family pictures taken before dinner. 💅

I’m here to add value + connect + support other like minded moms. 🙌

What do we have in common? I’d love to get to know you better too! by @janellemfox

Just a boy and his airplane ✈️

Capturing them as they are right now: the things they love and the little details that make them who they are so you can remember their sweet little faces and what brought them joy. 🤍

It’s not too late for a back-to-school mini!

Comment MINI or DM me to snag your spot.

By stepping back and letting them try, we build their confidence and problem-solving skills. It lets them know we trust their ability. You get to see first hand that confidence shine bc when they finish they are so proud. ⭐️

I have to keep reminding myself a few things -It’s not about perfection, it is about them learning through experience. And yes, this is going to take atleast 2, 3 or 4 times as long as if I just did it, but it really is worth it.

Ready to raise independent, resilient kids? Start with these small steps:

1. Let them choose and prepare their own clothes.
2. Encourage them to clean up their toys or room.
3. Let them get their own snacks.

What’s one thing you can let your child handle on their own today?
