Just a mom who misses dressing up her littles on this day & all the excitement that goes with it!

Huck is such a good sport! Stella & Grit- not fans!

A series of pets in the girls costumes…yes, I still have them all!! Happy Halloween everyone! by @janelleshultz

We recently added this little Miss to our clan- meet Dolly Purrton (and her coat of many colors).
She’s a hoot- loves sunshine, loves playing with Stella, loves teasing Huck, tolerates Grit, loves to help me in the office, follows me when I vacuum, loves attention, & loves everyone she meets. by @janelleshultz

Happy 2nd Birthday Stella…my little ray of sunshine. by @janelleshultz

I don’t know the secret to happiness, but what I do know is that it has something to do with having a dog.

March. The beginning of spring & awakening of the earth. Flowers. Trees. Grass. New farm animal babies. A trip to CO. Puzzles. Scrapbook projects. Lots & lots of dog time. by @janelleshultz

This trip we made sure that our dates included a few days *before* Halloween so that we could take photos with “Blinky” the MM pumpkin that sits front & center in Town Square on Main Street. One side is smiling & the other is winking.

I used VersaMark ink & stamps from @kerribradfordstudio & @socialpaperplan for the title & popped up Mickey heads. All the other little snippets from my Halloween stash.

New to the farm…
2 Emu’s: Dash & Violet (from the movie Incredibles)
1 hen & 7 babies: Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs

& our little goats we’ve had since last fall: Choco, Waffles & Elvis by @janelleshultz

“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.” Sounds like a great idea- let’s go to Disney!!

Starting my album for our past trip, October 2025. One of the many ways to bring the magic into the daily when I’m not able to be in the parks.

Documenting the small details: Heart rocks in the pavement, waiting at rope drop & Buck watching the DCA waterfall that’s on the backside of Grizzly River Run.

Sewing & stapling of all the hearts that I cut on my silhouette. Lining up the photo heart cuts on the silhouette was a bit tricky- so I used one of my cut hearts & traced/cut old school style. I didn’t want to mess up the photos & have to reprint. Little bits & baubles added in for some texture.

January, 2026. by @janelleshultz

I love hunting for the most precious new baubles each & every year. Old or new.

Christmas ornament add’s for this year:
- I found these 💛 Shiney Brights yesterday at @simplyirresistiblewaco . They stopped me dead in my tracks! I’ve never seen SB’s with 💛’s before! They are stunning! Perfect for my heart tree!
- These vintage messy quilted ❤️’s I found in CO last year around Valentine’s Day. I have 6- each one’s little different.
- After seeing a post on @thecarpentersdaughterwaco IG feed the night before I drove into town yesterday to see what could scoop up! Found this beauty- handcrafted feast for the eyes! & perfect for the ❤️ tree.
-These vintage wool poinsettia is a gift from my sister, Misty. A “I miss you” gift given on our recent return to CO for Thanksgiving.
- This double 💛 I found at an antique store @centralgoodswaco , another perfect addition!!
- These chandelier prisms found at @simplyirresistiblewaco yesterday was the most heart warming, down to my core find! I know they aren’t traditional ornaments- but there is a story behind these beauties. A story that brings my girl Polly to shine her light into my Christmas tree! If you’ve seen the movie, Pollyanna, you know that they hang prisms in a “sick woman’s“ room to bring her joy & light. Well- here is my Polly light- bringing joy! Oh, how I miss her! by @janelleshultz

This year’s code names- Disney dogs! All the girls & their boys will be home for Christmas! Our first TX Christmas!! And as always- new wrapping paper, I have a soft spot for, which is why I have 13 new rolls. by @janelleshultz
