Good morning , I had a real conversation with my kids today about the importance of knowledge over devices and television. 📚

I told them that I don't want them growing up thinking a screen has to constantly entertain them. When you're constantly watching short videos, scrolling through Shorts, or jumping from one thing to another every few seconds, I believe it can make it harder to sit still, focus, be patient, and actually engage with things that require effort.

And honestly… some of the stuff on YouTube Shorts is just straight-up stupid. 😂 Not everything deserves your attention just because it has millions of views.

I want my kids to learn the difference between being entertained and actually being enriched.

Read a book. Learn something new. Ask questions. Use your imagination. Go outside. Have a conversation. Build something. Create something. Think.

I'm not against technology. Technology is a tool, and I want my kids to know how to use it wisely. But I refuse to let a tablet, TV, or phone become their entire world.

Because I don't just want to raise kids who know how to scroll.

Rip Grandpa Joe yu had an amazing service and omgosh all your children are a split image of you ! Thanks for being an amazing step father to my step father who helped raise me and has been the greatest example of a man to my mother to myself and to my sisters ! I’m very grateful for being able to see you on 4th of July I wish I snapped a photo . Thank yu for accepting my step dad as yur own because I believe that’s a big reason why he was able to accept me ! I pray for my dad and his family in this time of their loss ! Should have recorded from the beginning when we made everyone go around and say they names. Laila has been over her auntie house plenty of times her and Brevonna have been growing up together since Laila was born. They even went to the Same daycare for years all my kids and brevonna. My friend is my sister and her family is mine as mine is hers so this is my nephew Josiah and this is the first time Gage and Jianna is going to their aunts house so we just wanted to lay down a few rules.
