Texas youth deserve the absolute right and resources to control their own reproductive healthcare decisions, no matter what zip code they live in. With state laws making birth control access more difficult and restricting youth autonomy, we launched and expanded our Repro Kit program to meet young Texans exactly where they are.
 📍 Our Current Hubs:
Panhandle & West Texas: Amarillo, Lubbock, and San Angelo
East-Central Texas: Bryan and College Station
📦 Need a kit? Text us at 866-999-5263 Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 11 PM CT.

Abortion access takes people showing up, and this summer, our community did. 💗✨ Together, we answered 656 hotline calls, exchanged 1,208 textline messages, completed 36 Texas intakes, supported 25 out-of-state abortion cases, and distributed 1,282 repro kits. We also gathered to pack supplies at Bundles of Care, build community at Abortion Summer Camp, raise funds at Liar Liar, and connect with fellow advocates at the Let’s Talk About Sex and Abortion and Reproductive Justice conferences.

Behind these numbers is the everyday work of helping young Texans get answers, navigate barriers, and make their own reproductive decisions with support.
To our volunteers, donors, partners, and everyone who showed up: thank you for making this work possible. Help us keep it going by donating through the link in our bio. 💕

Join us in congratulating Jane’s Due Process Executive Director, Lucie Arvallo, on passing the Texas bar exam! 🎉 We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with Lucie, whose commitment to reproductive justice and youth access in Texas continues to guide her work.

Lucie’s bar exam journey was far from linear. As a first-generation college student and the first in her family to attend law school since her grandmothers immigrated to this country from Mexico, Lucie, like so many students, found herself balancing long-term employment and finding the right time to sit for the exam. She has chosen to dedicate her career to reproductive justice, and since she graduated in 2019, there have been so many shifts in the movement that have made it hard to catch a breath, much less take a bar exam. Lucie is so grateful to Jane’s Due Process for their trust in her to take a leave of absence to study for the exam and continue to lead the organization through this tumultuous time, alongside the greatest team of advocates fighting for youth access in Texas.

Three days prior to the exam, in the midst of the most anxious parts of studying, Lucie found out she was three weeks pregnant. Taking the bar exam while pregnant and navigating the first trimester was not part of her plan. But now, at almost 18 weeks with a baby boy, Lucie is so proud to share that she has passed the Texas bar exam. She could not have done this without the love and support of the JDP team, her mother Cecelia, and her fiancé Julian. She is so honored to continue the work of advancing reproductive justice in Texas and dismantling legal and policy barriers to youth access to abortion and contraceptive care.

Congratulations, Lucie! 💜 by @janesdueprocess

Imagine picking up abortion pills alongside your everyday essentials with clear instructions, support, and no prescription required. 💙 In collaboration with Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH), we’re exploring that possibility through #MiMi4All. MiMi is a conceptual medication abortion kit that helps us picture what over-the-counter access could look like.

People interviewed about this option described the potential for more privacy, less time spent seeking care, and less fear of judgment. Research is also exploring how package labels and screening questions could help people determine whether abortion pills are appropriate for them. That future isn’t a reality yet, but young people belong in the conversation and deserve affordable care, clear information, and reliable support. Swipe to explore the research and why JDP is joining #MiMi4All. ✨

What if you could pick up abortion pills at a pharmacy without a prescription? 💜 The #MiMi4All campaign invites us to imagine that future. MiMi is a conceptual medication abortion kit, not a product available for purchase- that shows what over-the-counter access could look like: affordable pills, clear instructions, and support when you need it. For people facing barriers to care, that future could mean more privacy, less travel, and fewer delays. At JDP, we believe young people deserve to be included in that vision.

We’re joining #MiMi4All because young Texans deserve more ways to access abortion and reliable support along the way. Swipe to explore the concept and the research behind it, then share this post to help more people imagine what’s possible. ✨ Visit mimi4all.com for more information
