I am not the woman to rush through prayer. I have sat with God, rested my head on his shoulder, and held his right hand. He reminds me every day that I am strong, courageous, loved, important, unique, and have a purpose in this life. I will stand tall with pride, knowing God will pick me up when my knees fall weak. For I am His soldier in this battlefield of life, He will never provide a burden that I cannot overcome. I am a force to be reckoned with…. I won’t lie; I took my life before for granted. I’d wake up to birds chirping, get up and start my day already wishing it was over. Since breaking my neck, the simple things in life have become so much more important to me. I didn’t realize how grateful I was to even be given the blessing to be able to walk, let alone over 90% chance of paralysis was starring me in the face at the age of 19. But I AM able to walk. I AM able to move. I have people who love me who have done nothing but push me through this hard time when I wanted nothing more than to give up. The simple things get a lot more important once they are taken away. Life is such a blessing and it’s sad that I fractured my neck to come to this realization. God has a plan, and this just so happens to be mine & I am okay with that. Knowing I’ll be able to walk up to heaven with the legs He allowed me to still be able to use today👣 •Micah 6:8•💛 by @janessakruse
