Who is Janessa?
Mom of five (ages 0–10), wife and full-time fun seeker living in Utah.

You’ll find a little bit of everything here- because that’s what real life looks like!

I share motherhood in the thick of it: the chaos, the overstimulation, the late-night laughs and more. With a heavy dose of marriage and motherhood humor - because sometimes you just have to laugh at the situations life throws at us all.

I majored in theater, so performing and storytelling are in my DNA and I want you to be part of the story. I love throwing parties, attending events, trying new things, and saying yes to experiences. I’m a gatherer at heart and love making the ordinary feel special.

But more than anything, I’m passionate about this:
Motherhood is a part of you — NOT your entire identity. You can show up for your family and still show up for yourself.

Here you’ll see of my page:
✨ Real-life mom moments
✨ Marriage humor
✨Life hacks from a mom who’s tried it all
✨ Parties, events, and getting overdressed
✨ Trying new things… just because
✨ A woman who refuses to disappear inside motherhood

Come for the laughter and chaos, but stay for the community. Join me in choosing joy every day, no matter what comes at you.

I’m so glad you’re here 🤍

Dinner is going to be GOOD this month! I always try to set aside two of my meals to take to friends and neighbors that are going through a hard time. It’s the perfect easy way to serve someone.

This trip took me right back to being 17 again with my high school best friends. Marissa was my ride or die through my high school years and all through my own wedding 15 years ago and now I finally got to live it up in celebration of HER! Cocktail/mocktail making class, sailing on a yacht, architecture tour, lots of pizza and endless dancing. Swipe to the end to see a throw back to our junior year.
