My debut album Fool is out now!! ⬇️

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My debut album Fool is out everywhere now!!! What an incredible journey it’s been to get here. I’m so proud of this record and so grateful to finally share it with you all!

Fool is about feeling like you’ll never fully understand the world around you, but trying your best to figure it out anyway. It’s about feeling like a fool most days and wondering if maybe that’s the point. Maybe we’re all fools in the end, and if we are, I’m happy to be fools alongside you all :).

Listen to the album front to back!!! Every song was intentionally placed and meant to be experienced that way.

I made this album with my friends and family in San Francisco. All my love and thanks goes to the people who helped make this come alive:

@adelaidesymmes on vocals
@jecaruso75 on guitar
@conradsloand on bass
@dankjartan on drums
@t_scheid on keys
@mister_r3d_ on bass for the album release show
@craysee for jumping in on fiddle for a song
and my dad @whitsymmes who played keys on a song

Produced by @ross.mikel and @gawainmathews
Mixed by @gawainmathews
Mastered by @parachutemastering

Cover art by @pruddyslick
Photo by my cousin Stuart Jones

And to the people who inspire me every day and I wouldn’t be here without. My parents, my sisters @elbel4 @adelaidesymmes and my muse @gjmaggizzi by @janesymmes

OH MY. I am SO excited to announce the release of my debut album Fool!

We’re celebrating with an album release show at my dream venue @thechapelsf on April 8th with @ren4eva and @animalprince_ , and the first single off the album “Keeping Your Sweater” drops March 6th!

✨Pre-save “Keeping Your Sweater” at the link in bio
🎟️Grab tickets to the album release show (link in bio)

This album means the world to me. It’s the first time I’ve recorded with a full live band, and I’m endlessly grateful for the friends and family who poured so much love into this record.

Fool is an intimate, introspective body of work that explores the vulnerability of wanting more from life while grappling with self doubt…the tension between believing in your purpose and feeling foolish for trying.

Pre-save the single and come celebrate with us at the Chapel 💜.

Huge shoutout and thank you to @adelaidesymmes @whitsymmes @jecaruso75 @t_scheid @dankjartan @conradsloand @craysee @mister_r3d_ @ross.mikel @gawainmathews for their work on the album and release show!

“Hill I Go” is out now!!! The third single off my debut album. I love this song so much, it’s about loving this place I live but feeling the constant pull back to New England…and trying not to get mad at my friends or family for leaving.

I recorded this song with @gawainmathews in his East Bay studio. I almost didn’t include it on the album but we spent 2 days putting this together and I fell in love with it. And now it’s the third single.

Listen, share it, send it to the people it makes you think of 💜
