My Amazon delivery instructions clearly state “do NOT leave packages on front step; place in carport or behind a planter so it is not visible from the street” otherwise we’re vulnerable to porch pirates. (It has occurred, our packages have been stolen. Numerous calls to Amazon and “escalations” have gotten us nowhere. So I posted this sign in HUGE font with the same instructions. This morning the delivery person had to have bent down directly in front of it to put the package down. . .where? You guessed it: on the step, visible to passers by. If anyone in Amazon leadership cares at all about customers, please properly train delivery staff and require third party compliance with procedures. Thank you. #amazonproblems #amazonfail #jeffbezos by @janetcarabelli

One more flight to get home from this wonderful trip! We’ve been fans of #turkishairlines for several years now; past 6 or 8 flights have been on the line. #travelling #liveeverydaylikeitsyourlast #workhardplayhard #lovinglife by @janetcarabelli

Excited to be returning to Venice next month, where we’ll get to enjoy the Art at the Biennale & Murano. These are photos of works by some of our favorite glass artist Alexis Silk from about 12 or 13 years ago. #artmatters #creativity #glassartwork @alexissilkart by @janetcarabelli

”Remember that everyone you meet is afraid of something, loves something & has lost something” This morning’s meditation was a perfect reminder for me to withhold judgement when encountering difficult people (I’ve done daily @calm morning sessions for 1,881 days straight so far — best way for me to start each day). #Calm #grace #understanding by @janetcarabelli
