Toys on the floor thought-I bought a princess outfit for Lyra on Amazon. She doesn’t watch any princess stuff…but it’s what she wants to be right now. I looked in the playroom and saw this pink plastic heart from the crown on the floor which equals a major choking hazard. Just like kids, we can choke on fake plastic stuff. We can choke on false dreams, addictions that come out of brokenness, shame, and thoughts about life that are just not true. I’m checking my thoughts, staying off Amazon, and putting my hope in His way which is Contrary. by @janetmiclean

My friend who is working to restore power in the Blue Ridge Mountains sent me this picture. He said he has lost several friends who were “swept away” trying to save other people. I am heartbroken and looking for ways to help. by @janetmiclean
