You can always tell when Janet is around because things begin to feel a little easier. She is helpful by nature. She listens, steps in, and tries to make sure that whatever needs attention is not left hanging.

You can see it in the path she is building for herself too. As a virtual assistant, executive assistant, finger food curator, and aspiring food processing specialist, Janet is drawn to work that requires care, organisation, attention, and the ability to make things easier for others.

In ECU, she found a community that taught her to value gathering, relationships, and the presence of other believers.

Janet, may you always have the strength to serve without losing yourself, and people who will show up for you just as genuinely as you show up for others.

May your career grow, your hands prosper, and your love for God remain the centre of everything you do.

And through every season, may you continue to hold tightly to God. He has never failed you, and He will not start now.

Despite all odds, I still made it to the event 😌

Yesterday was the NABAS Conference, and one major key takeaway for me was that consistency must be done strategically 🔥

I was also super excited that Cracky Brown was one of the invited speakers, and of course, I got to take a picture with him! 📸🙌

For some months now, I have been thinking seriously about life after school and the career path I want to pursue.

During my last semester break, I had the opportunity to intern, and that experience helped me gain clarity about the kind of work environment and career direction that aligns with my interests and strengths.

After much reflection and research, I found myself drawn to Virtual Assistance.
Since then, I have invested time in learning, researching, and building the skills required to grow in this field. The journey has not always been easy. Balancing learning with other responsibilities and pushing through moments of fatigue has required discipline and consistency.

There have been days when I've had to remind myself to complete just one more task before closing my laptop. Those moments have taught me that growth often happens when we push beyond our comfort zones.

While I'm still at the beginning of this journey, I'm excited about the opportunities to learn, connect with professionals, and continue developing my skills.
