God's creation is my inspiration. Most of my work finds its genesis in nature, expressed through acrylics, graphite, and colored pencils.

My protector, my Father, my Savior, my Jesus! How unfathomable it is that He would invite me to be His!

Just a little one while riding in the car. Cowgirl boots, hat, and roses. What more could a girl want?

Oh the things God has to do to get through to us sometimes! Like giving attitude and voice to a stubborn equine.

This piece was inspired by Numbers 22 and Balaam's donkey. Like Balaam, I often try to do things my own way. I have my own stubborn streak. God, in increasing degrees of persuasion, uses Balaam's donkey... let's call her Jenny... to get his attention. Balaam isn't paying attention and ignores the signs from the Lord. Oh, wait. That sounds just like me. ;) Finally God throws Balaam a doozie and gives voice to his faithful servant Jenny. Can you imagine? Maybe we need to take a lesson from a donkey. What unique approaches has God used to break through to you when you might not have been paying attention?

For some reason, this painting was hard to get started on. I guess that just happens sometimes in art... and in life. But once you take the first step, and begin to see progress, the next step comes easier. There is light at the end of the tunnel! I now have a little confidence that my wonkey-eyed donkey will come together! by @janetsannipoli

Love them Anyway

Have you ever met anyone that seems a little squirrelly, or maybe a bit prickly? On occasion, people can be a bit unloveable. But if we follow Jesus' example and love them anyway, we may just end up with a friend.
