POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

CIRCLES out now on all platforms!!

@adubdob was the magic man behind the production on this track with @consciousgroove on the drums and @jonnytobinmusic with mixing and extra good vibes.

Also, isn’t this artwork the best? Ian on bass. Forever crystallized in the cover for this song.

I hope when folks listen to this song they are able to see their own experiences in the emotion of the sound or even the lyrics. What changes are you circling around? What patterns do you keep repeating ?

❤️

Have a listen and tell me what you feel from this track…

Episode 8 of Summer Songs & Soda keeps us in Montreal, Quebec, Canada with Janette King.

Singer, producer, and DJ Janette King joins us for a conversation about her journey as an artist, the experiences that have shaped her sound, and what it means to continue evolving creatively. We dive into the inspiration behind her music, her songwriting process, and the story behind the song she chose to share with us ahead of its August release.

From the lyrics to the emotions and real-life experiences behind them, Janette gives us a closer look at the person behind the music and where she finds herself in this chapter of her artistry.

Another Montreal story, another song, another moment this Sunday. Different city, same feeling.

🇻🇨Don’t miss Caribbean-Canadian alt kween @janette.king in Toronto on August 16!

Critically acclaimed and shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize, King is a fearless and genre-blurring voice in R&B. She is currently crafting a new project, set for release in 2026, that delves into themes of neural nostalgia—reflecting on memory, emotion, and the way music shapes our sense of the past.
