ditan er bbq in murray hill queens ($35pp)

bro…. recently i got some friends that discovered my alter ego 😔😔😔 so anyways i’ve been really into skewers and this place did not miss. i am obsessed w the lamb skewers, the beef wasn’t bad! then enoki mushrooms were amazing the glass noodles tho. we got the stir fried green beans oh my def try!

overall 8/10, would def order more next time LOL by @janeyeatss

hanis bakery cafe ($10 per pastry)

heard sm rave about this spot bc of the cinnamon roll as well as the carrot cake slice. the cinnamon roll was honestly gas i was a big fan, it was def big and shareable so would def recommend 9/10. carrot cake was good! ummmm idk about like $11-14 good but it was alright, it got a bit too sweet and heavy towards the end 6/10. but vibes were great in there :) taken in Hani's Bakery + Café by @janeyeatss

yoko cho in les manhattan ($20-30 per dish)

recommended by some lovely people i met a few weeks ago hehe. got some apps bc it seemed more like izakaya style. so got some karaage bc i loooove fried chicken and the server recommended the miso butter baked clams so i got that as well, so delicious oh my. then i got the chirashi bowl w the assorted sushi over sushi rice, dude that was fire i loved it. all things shareable, 7/10. i wouldn’t go out of my way for this spot but it’s not bad! by @janeyeatss

taqueria ramirez greenpoint bk ($15 for three)

I WAS STARVING so honestly i could’ve eaten anything but tacos sounded really great. waited maybe 5 minutes?? i ordered two al pastor and one suadero (slow cooked pork). and then they had a self serve bar type with all toppings you wanted like pico and cilantro and sauce. so i abs destroyed these and they were abs delicious, i would totally come back, portions are fairly tiny so i would order more next time. seating was good, people ate really fast and dipped so wouldn’t really find a problem there. really yummy but small, typical nyc 8/10. taken in Taqueria Ramirez by @janeyeatss

sushi 35 west midtown nyc ($20)

wanted a quick bite and always always down for sushi. lowkey spot on second floor, kinda hard to find but the fish looked insanely fresh. joan and i split a salmon ikura danburi, salmon was silky and melted a bit, was a fan. ummmm idk why i keep thinking i like ikura it’s not bad just not my fav, it was quick bite and good food would get if desperate for sushi butttttt there’s a lot of better spots i feel 6/10. taken in Sushi 35 West by @janeyeatss

fish cheeks in les nyc

my sister is such a thai food lover so we were wandering around les wanting some oysters and a snack so somehow we stumbled upon fish cheeks. i heard really good stuff and they had oysters. so we got the oysters ($1.50) so tiny, so not worth i would not order 💔💔. ok but the coconut crab curry was gas, i’ve never seen such big chunks of crab before and the curry was yummmm. it def tasted like a huge batch was made and joan said it was a bit watery but still great 8/10 would recommend for sureeeee, cutest decor and great staff by @janeyeatss

dokodemo in manhattan nyc ($20pp)

wait FIREEEEEE such a freaking gem and not talking about the “hidden gem when it’s literally chinatown” im talking like dude its a great spot and good prices. ok known for their okonomoyaki which is soooo hard to find anywhere, their karage was insane really great crunchy and juice! their ramen was also gas honestly it was such a cozy comfy spot i would def come again!! it was filling too 9/10 wooop wooop! taken in DokoDemo by @janeyeatss

baraki in bayside ny ($30-50??)

ummmmm CUTEEEE spot heard great things about their brunch their drinks went hard i ordered two of something ummmm sweet and strong LOL tapas type of place, ummmmmm honestly nothing left a huge impression on me it was like a cute lil bar with ok food, gyro baos and fried plantains and some chicken and rice which wasn’t bad it was yum. the burrata toast was gooooodddd overall 6/10 would go for brunch by @janeyeatss

we out here STARVINGGGGG what is this portion i did not know i was supposed to eat before i went out and ate??? like what ummmmm salty ahhh salmon um rice and furikake was delish like wow. side dishes were amazing wow really yummy and fresh but portions were just sooooo small and so expensive saddd. miso soup was yum! 6/10 bc price and just okay taken in DASHI OKUME Brooklyn by @janeyeatss

um i act cannot believe im back here after who knows HOW LONGGGG but my biggest fan wanted to know my thoughts LOOL anyways ah ayce sushi i thinkkkk ive been spoiled by really good sushi bc honestly this wasn’t all that. uhhhhh i came here once in hs it was mid and once again midddddd likeeeee salmon was aight tuna was also middddd af and then um the rolls like sad just sad. company was fire tho tea was def spilled today but hey fire company 5/10 sushi 💔💔💔😔😔😔 taken in Akino by @janeyeatss

such a cute brunch spot loveeee
- crème anglaise soufflé pancake soooo fluff and such good cream (9/10) tiny
- blue moon latte (6/10) flowery blue milk but pretty LOL
- berry bliss tasted funky (5/10)
- rose latte (8/10) yum flower milk
- bacon omurice??? ugh so good an upgrade from kyuramen 8/10
- shoyu ramen ummmmm salty tiny 5/10
- matcha mont blanc soufflé pancake w red bean??? mmmm not bad liked the crème anglese more 7/10

double mala tang ($20-30)

was craving mala so badly it’s the type where you get a big metal bowl and you pick your own toppings and meat and they stir fry it for you. dude so GOOD. really good selections, fast service. i lowkey bodied this. also so shareable! 9/10.
