Last year I had the ever so lovely Roberta from @hunt_the_pearl & @saraemslie_styleandceramics visit my home & garden to shoot an exciting article for @countryhomesmag .
It was published last week and I couldn’t be happier with the colourful feature. Oh, and did I mention the front cover too?! 😂
It was such a fun experience ….the house has never been so tidy!!
I grew the flowers photographed on the wonderful @garden_goddess_uk & @floraldaysintheshires #sowsandgrows course last year in my new @rhinogreenhouses 🌿
A huge thanks to @saraemslie_styleandceramics for your wonderful words & to @robertaashleyphotography for your beautiful images & to @countryhomesmag for publishing it.

Last week, a lovely Instagram follower @essie_wonen.aan.de.kade, from the Netherlands, messaged me to say you’re in @landideemagazine with me!
Esther not only sent me photos but posted the magazine to me as an early Christmas present! A huge thank you to Esther for your kindness, it was a great surprise and made my day…now, if only I could read it! 😂😂😂 🎄

Last year I was asked to arrange the wedding flowers for the church and reception for my beautiful lifelong friend’s daughter @ciarahalligan.
Honoured and excited, I got growing and planning. I got to be a wannabe florist for 24 hours, it was so much fun and I can’t quite believe I did it in May this year.
I absolutely take my hat off to florists doing this 24/7, the dedication and pressure of getting the right flowers to be in bloom for the ‘big day’ must be immense.
Luckily @halliganclare & @ciarahalligan are very laid back and I didn’t feel that pressure!
Thank you for asking me, I was in floral heaven! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
What a wonderful day we had celebrating at @killeavycastle, it was just perfect! 💞
@greenandgorgeousflowers These ranunculus are grown from claws I purchased from you last year. 🌿

Trying to keep everything flowering and alive in the garden is a full time job these days! As soon as they flower, they wilt and die…please rain! 🙏🏼

Yesterday, I cleared all the tulips out of my cutting garden and planted out some seedlings at long last. 🌱
Never tire of these double peony tulips, their blooms seem to get bigger and better the longer you leave them, fading beauties. 🌸

A few of my favourite ‘peony like’ tulips I’ve grown this year …before the rain completely strips them of their blousy petals. Apparently the petals are edible?! 🌸

My flower seedlings are growing steadily in the winter sunshine of late, it actually felt like Spring last weekend! They’re looking healthy so far in the greenhouse, the anticipation and patience is real! 😅
