sensitivity - what does this mean?

negative sensitivity - hiding from pain, protecting egos, weak to critique, lack of emotional regulation due to fear of rejection.

positive sensitivity - empathy, intuition, compassion, creativity, softness, nurturing, appreciation, connection.

sensitive becomes balanced with - boundaries, confidence and the ability to not absorb everything personally.

I strive to be the most confident, sensitive person I can be. by @janeysjukebox

Some of the most meaningful songs aren’t songs at all. They’re quiet, ordinary sounds that surround us everyday. So a song with a sound? I’m talking about the subtle soundtrack of life itself.

So give real life a go, or better yet, listen to how these two songs use external sounds to shape the song, how the melody actually flows with real life sounds itself.

Song recs:
- Marginalia #48 by Masakatsu Takagi
- the local time is always now by Persian Empire

Feeling like bread? I got the playlist for you.

Apathy, numbness or content? Sometimes you just need to find a song that is not too sad but not too hype or empowering either. That in between feeling of idk? The being of just feeling okay.

This playlist doesn’t force any sound upon you. It just allows you to be, to exist.

NEW BLOG ON THE WEB - Roze (Euston Station) by @fredagainagainagainagainagain

I was nothing but gooood to youu

This song isn’t like any tradition club music, but closer to ambient house/ minimalist electronic with a sense of realism that Fred again.., has made his own.

This song exists in real space rather than escapes from it. Similar to the feeling of regret, how it sits and remains, despite the ongoing nature of life. The steady, constant rhythm mirrors the function of a station: trains and people constantly coming and going, life continuing without a pause. A song that captures a moment in motion. The feeling of regret is prominent- it’s a real feeling.

My mix above: Roze (Euston station) X tie that binds by drake.
