Cora’s mural 🐇🌸🪻🪁
I could keep working on this but I had to stop because our new arrival is pending anyday now. I stopped this about 3 weeks ago and just never thought to post the ‘finished’ piece. I’d still like to add sky at the top and some more flowers and greenery but it will have to do for now. I’ve also got another project in her room. Which maybe I’ll take on over the winter months. I’ve got some artwork and her new curtains up too which I must share because I do love them.

Part Three… this has been over the last little while and got some more done this evening which is not included in this. Happy to have it near done although I would say that I could keep working on this forever. Need to spend some time getting everything ready for the next arrival now 🙈

Should I paint the top where sky is a light blue? Answer in poll 😅 taken in Cooley Mountains by @janeysselfbuild

I used to go blackberry picking in this very field, Janey’s with my cousins, and today Cora got to do the very same with hers. 🥹🫐

My beautiful nieces showed her the ropes including how to avoid the nettles and thorns (or as Cora calls them, the “spicy bits” 😂).

A proper full-circle moment watching them all together, making memories in the very same place we did all those years ago. ❤️

There may be 100 parts to this mural 🙈 but it’s actually proving to be really enjoyable!

I don’t get much time for creative stuff these days, so it’s been nice to just pick up the paintbrush and get stuck in. Still a long way to go… but I’m getting there! 🎨🐰🌿 taken in Cooley Mountains by @janeysselfbuild

I’ve only gone and decided to take on Cora’s bedroom mural! 🎨🐰🌸

With a free morning, I got stuck in… think whimsical bunnies, trees, flowers and a whole lot of painting! 🌳🐇🌼

But at nearly 32 weeks pregnant, still working and with a new arrival on the way… have I absolutely bitten off more than I can chew? 😂

Will I actually get it finished? Will Cora have her dreamy new bedroom? And will we manage to get another room ready for the new arrival too? 👶🏼💕

Stay tuned… this could go one of two ways! 😂 taken in Cooley Mountains by @janeysselfbuild

Bronze cream finish in the upper part of our house. We wanted to keep its more paired back finish for the bedrooms. @donnellycpc86 did a fantastic shop, you can even see the joints are perfect 🙌
