First day of Preschool ✏️
I remember there was a time we were told by specialists that she might never talk🧩... but here we are 🥹 Maybe not in full sentences yet, but even the smallest words feel like the biggest victories. She has hit milestone after milestone, always on her own timeline, but she never stops showing us how strong and capable she is. She has worked so hard the past two years through all her therapies and I'm just so proud of

Today just hasn't felt real. You were the LIFE of the party, always making everyone laugh and never caring what anyone thought. Being around you was never boring. You were always there for the big moments, somehow showing up exactly when it mattered most. I’ll always be grateful for how much you loved and looked out for Benny. You were taken far too soon. Motherhood changed me but receiving my daughter's autism diagnosis broke me before it rebuilt me. We celebrated waves and claps. Celebrating milestones other people don’t even notice. We celebrated being able to sing Happy Birthday without it overwhelming her. I grieved the life I thought she’d have. I lost myself in survival mode-mentally, emotionally, physically. Wondering every day if I was doing enough as a mom. I hit my heaviest at 170 lbs. My daughter works harder than most adults ever will—Speech, Occupational, ABA, four days a week just to learn the basics. She shows me what strength really looks like. She never stops trying, when she finally started talking, I finally started healing. I started choosing myself again and worked on getting my "pink" back🦩 2025: We showed up. We survived. 2026: Locked in and thriving🧩❤️ by @janiceyyy1
