We grew our own #sprouts from #lentils. 3 days sitting in a jar. Minimal effort. Probably about $0.15. Utterly delicious. Chock full of protein. #growyourfood #veganfood #rawfood by @janinius

Horsie aka little horse @njhorsie sprouted a growth on his lip and yesterday we travelled to Stamford CT to @cornellvet to have a series of procedures - ct scan, biopsies, aspirations and dental surgery. The growth had pushed his tooth out so much so that it literally popped out when they started surgery before incision. Poor baby must have been in such pain. He was a champ the whole way there and back - looking out the window and snuggling for pets when I could give them. Horsie is now resting comfortably at home while we wait for the test results to return. Upon initial examination and radiology scan, it doesn’t appear to be cancerous but we won’t know until the results are back. In the meantime, send your healing energy, vibes and prayers to our big boy. We love him so. by @janinius

May is only a few days old and i already have a photo dump worthy of sharing. Living upstate can be challenging at times - and I do miss the city - but the beauty, fresh air, birds and stars are beyond worth it. #upstateny #catsofinstagram #dogsofinstagram #sunsetgram #gardeninglife I missed the real shot when he was literally just staring at the house. taken in Ghent, New York by @janinius

It took Lucille a long time to eat like a regular dog after her rescue from the breeding mill and the subsequent operations on her throat needed to keep her alive. But she loves @rachaelray wet and dry food beyond - regular and healthy weight which she is currently on to lose post operation + torn acl pounds. And she literally makes the cutest noises while she eats. Sound up #lemonbeagle #adoptdontshop #dogsofinstagram #beaglesofinstagram #rachaelraynutrish taken in Ghent, New York by @janinius

Lucille was keen to take a walk. To the road - specifically to the middle of it. Again. #dogsofinstagram #lemonbeagle #adoptdontshop❤️ #beagles beaglesofinstagram taken in Ghent, New York by @janinius
