„Tour de marché”
Sportswear as an advertising medium for supermarket products. Cyclists transform into products of marketing due to branded, multicoloured jerseys they wear.
Tight, aerodynamic silhouettes resemble wrapping foil or vacuum sealed packing. Bright colours and all-over prints take sportswear to the extreme making fun of present advertising.

Is it possible to almost be? Exploring how almost-clothes can render human existence into an almost-state, Warsaw-based designer Jan Anusz presents “Collection that is almost”, a bachelor diploma project for the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Heavily influenced by digital edits and the solarisation technique, the collection experiments with negative space, form, colour, and function. Anusz seamlessly merges vivid felt greyscale fabrics into transparent organza across a coat and pants, uses printed negative cutouts to craft the illusion of blue denim on skinny jeans, and assembles leather jacket and boot pieces like puzzles to form structural moulds around the torso and legs. Un-weaved tank tops, suit pants, and skirts further dissolve fabric into sheer, lingering threads.
