I’ve always believed that a good image starts long before the camera comes up.

It starts with understanding what the image needs to say, then making a series of small decisions around it.

The direction. The light. The set. The composition.
What stays in the frame, what doesn’t.
Sometimes moving something a few centimeters is enough to change the whole image.

On set, I’m not only thinking about how to make something look good. I’m constantly asking whether every decision is helping the image become what it needs to be.

And that process is never really mine alone. An idea moves through different people, different hands, different decisions. Each one shaping the final frame in some way.

In the end, people see one image.

But for me, the work has always been about everything in between.
