Worry less about how you feel and more about how the ball is coming off your barrel.

I tried to mechanically diagnose it and when I went to my coaches, they told me my timing was off because Japanese pitching is different.

And the last person you want to tell how sh*tty you feel and ask for help is from the coach who is writing the lineup.

My manager wouldn’t release the lineup until he watched me take BP. Good rounds, I might be starting. Bad, I’m on the bench.

The stress was so heavy that I was losing sleep. I had moments on the train ride home where I would breakdown in tears.

Baseball had been so fun the year before & now felt so heavy on my heart and shoulders.

So much opportunity being squandered and everyday felt like I was digging a deeper hole.

I see hitters so focused on getting ready to hit, they end up getting “stuck” or crashing forwards.

When you watch big league hitters, notice how athletic they look when they get to their launch.

I like this swing BUT pitchers are nasty. We want our move to the ball to be repeatable. If you do this and rake, keep raking. If you’re inconsistent, let’s talk.
