Did the thing again this weekend. Just squeaked past my homie @jarrid_lopez at the last second in finals to take the Win. In all my years of racing this was the closest heat I’ve been in.
Thanks to @faceplantboardriders for setting up another wonderful @sk8thecape, and @mrossearhart for shooting rad photos of the event. It’s sparking water, btw

Ten years ago today, I bought my first longboard, a 47 inch Sector 9 pintail. Since that day. I’ve ridden my skateboard in 2 countries, 16 states, and have put in countless miles. My life changed from the minute I stepped on that pintail, and I can’t be more thankful for it. What started as watching longboard videos to procrastinate from a school project got me to be the 2nd ranked Jr. downhill skateboarder in the world (2014.) I’ve made more friends than I count, and been to so many gorgeous places, all because of a skateboard. I couldn’t have been more happy to spend this weekend at Skate the Cape, celebrating the joy of skateboarding, and taking a win on the eve of my 10 year anniversary. I also generously thank EVERYONE who supported me over this past decade, such as @originalskateboards @reytrucksofficial @pushculture
and especially those still supporting me today such as @loadedboards @orangatangwheels @actionboardshop
I thank all of you for making this a decade of my life to remember ❤️ I’ve posted 10 photos, one from every year. Starting in 2009, (the first photo of me on a longboard) through 2018 since Instagram only let’s you post 10 photos.

I’ve always lived near NYC,but never have made it to a broadway bomb until yesterday. We skated right down Broadway, starting at 116th street and ending at the Wall Street Bull. The adrenaline rush of weaving in and out of traffic with tons of other skaters was comparable to nothing. After the race we rolled out with a pretty big crew to the pump track in Brooklyn although it was closed, but got to skate the Williamsburg bridge (both ways!) Which was on my wishlist of spots to skate since 2009. After that we decided to skate back to port authority instead of a train. I rode my skateboard a total of 21 miles and had a smile on my face for every one of them.

This year was my seventh Central Massachusetts Skate Festival, and unfortunately the last one to ever happen. I’ve met COUNTLESS friends who I’ll have for the rest of my life through this one magical weekend every year. My first @centralmassskatefestival attendance was when I was fresh out of the 8th grade, and 7 years later I’m still going back. I’ve been to 7/10 of them, and never once have I ever not been completely stoked. @emgeemann and @emgeeevents completely knocked it out of the park with a whole decade of this event.
@maxdubler made me look way cooler than I ever have looked before. And @loadedboards @orangatangwheels and @actionboardshop keep me rolling.
