Finalized a new OC design today! My Trevenant Gijinka, The King of the Deadwood.
I wanted him to look like an urban legend mothers would tell their kids to keep them out of the woods. The wood knot in his chest represents the forest’s curse he’s been afflicted with, turning him into a wooden monster. He resides in the heart of the woods, using his 6 roots sprouting into the ground from his body to control the trees around him.
The trench coat is mostly closed, making him simply look like a tall tree. But when it battle, it opens up.
I’ve got more in the works, can’t promise when they’ll come out!

I quite like Pokémon, and I’ve always loved giving humanoid forms to things that aren’t always necessarily human. Today I show you a Humanoid Golurk, the Automaton pokemon! Ground-Ghost type, too. I made him with graphic design pens and alcohol markers! There will be more of these coming, as I’ve got two other humanoid pokemon I love.

The other pictures are the original pokemon, the utensils used, and my progress shots, the first being the sketch, and the second one being the inked version with the graphic design pens!

Been a long time since I’ve posted here. Let’s change that. I made an owl automaton last night! Just a simple design, but I think it turned out well :)

If there’s anything you guys would like to see, drop a comment! I’d love to try out some new stuff! Or old stuff, whatever it is I’m probably gonna be game :) by @jared_hill_607
