My annual Summer Solstice pics. Longest day of the year, and up here, the northern horizon doesn’t really get dark. I love it, although we pay for it in the winter with the short days!
It’s my little yearly journey (to a different spot this year!) to sit and ponder, and I guess reflect.
It’s been quite the fucking year, I can say that for sure.
I’m learning some real hard lessons, and have been challenged in ways I didn’t know I would be. I think one of the hardest is where I fit in with the gay community in this new phase of my life, and I guess I didn’t expect that.
There’s also been lots of great times this past year, and I have had some amazing, supportive people in my life, both old and new. Thankful for that.

Quite the ying and yang really.

Anyway, there are my solstice ramblings for the year, at 2:30am!! We shall see what the next year brings. by @jaredkm

My grandma made all the grandkids two baby blankets that they could have for when they had their own kids. I decided I didn’t want kids, but I always wanted the blankets to actually be used, and not just sit in a box collecting dust. So when my friend Brittney surprised us all with twins, I thought it would be the perfect one year old gift for them, and I know my grandma would be so happy to see them being used. It’s just another way her wonderful spirit lives on.❤️ by @jaredkm
