I didn’t have some perfect 10-year business plan. I had a severance check, an idea, and a whole lot of figuring it out as I went.

Fast forward 17+ years… Jared’s Leads has been recognized 4× on the Inc. 5000, grown into a nationally recognized lead generation and marketing company, and helped businesses across the country find the right customers.

And now I’m standing in a room with people I used to look up to, waiting to walk on stage and tell my story.

This is more than a business story.

It’s a reminder that getting knocked down doesn’t mean the story is over.

Sometimes, it’s where your story actually starts.

I’m just getting started telling mine.

Today was a reminder of why I love building.

Honored to spend the afternoon with the incredible team at Inc. Magazine and fellow founders during the 2026 Inc. 5000 Media Day in Los Angeles.

From interviews and video shoots to conversations with entrepreneurs who are building remarkable companies, it was a chance to reflect on the lessons, challenges, and decisions that shaped the journey.

One thing that stood out today: the best stories aren’t about overnight success. They’re about showing up when things get hard, trusting your team, learning from failure, and staying committed to the mission.

Grateful to be part of this community and excited for what’s ahead.
