Friends for nearly a decade, I finally got the privilege of meeting up in person with @crimp.crib for an unforgettable few days in Yosemite. He was gracious enough to let me tag along even though our objectives were beyond my abilities (and still would be even if I weren’t hampered by the wrist injury). Having never been to the Valley, we both had high expectations. Yosemite exceeded them on every front. While the stone, the lines, and the climbing were truly amazing, what lingers most is sharing that space with such an incredible human being. Love you, buddy. Thanks for everything!

Once in a while, putting in the legwork pays off in a big way. And whether it does or doesn’t, the quest to discover what’s around the next corner is its own reward. Happy to say that even after all these years, Idaho has more than her share of secrets yet to be revealed. by @jaren.watson

For almost half of 2025, a TFCC tear has kept me from being able to climb much. Aging slows recovery, and even minor injuries can take a long time to heal. Losing fitness is a challenge at any age.
Bit by bit, I’m regaining strength. These boulders may not be difficult, but they required some real effort. To be able to really try again, even if just a little bit —👌#hpptg #gratitude #loveyoucrew by @jaren.watson
