Transform Polaroid photography from simple snapshots into a thoughtful, personal form of creative expression.

The course focuses on contemporary Polaroid cameras, including the Polaroid Now+ and Polaroid i-2, and is ideal for artists interested in developing intentional, experimental, and expressive approaches to instant film.

Over a six-week period you will meet once a week in Zoom with artist and educator Jari Poulin. Through demonstrations, creative prompts, and group dialogue, participants will learn how to harness the medium’s unique visual language while developing a cohesive body of work.

Whether you are new to Polaroid or already have experience, this class is an opportunity to expand your creative toolkit and discover new ways of working with instant images.

In this six-week online class, artist and educator Jari Poulin will explore the creative possibilities of Polaroid and instant film, combining experimentation, intention and the wonderful unpredictability of the medium.

Whether you are new to Polaroid or already have experience, this class is an opportunity to expand your creative toolkit and discover new ways of working with instant images.
