🇬🇧Today we say goodbye to you, my dearest grandma.💫

Christmas will never be the same again. We always celebrated our birthdays together with the family at Christmas. You were born on the 25th, and I was born on the 15th. A special bond that will last forever. You always called me your “kameraad van de winkelstraat”, a little rhyme that will stay with me forever.

You brought five children into this world: four sons and a wonderful daughter, my mum. For that, we will be forever grateful to you.

Today, you passed away on the very same day as my grandfather. As if you had been waiting to be reunited with him.

Rest peacefully, my dear godmother. 🤍💫

Rust zacht, metertje. 🤍💫 by @jarnovb
