The tin woodsman is now out in the wild, armed with her axe and on a mission to tell everyone the truly dark tale of how the woodsman became well, tin! by @jarvissa

Just collected our fired masterpieces from @sophiespotterycafe.
Rather pleased with the plate, which was painted under significant handicap of an escalating mard (not mine!) … and downright amazed Sophies managed to colourise the mermaid, which was a uniform sludge brown last time I saw it!

Introducing the winner of the 2025 Easter Bonnet Competition (0-5 years category) and the ‘participant’ who placed third… out of three (12 years to OAP category).
I mean WHAAAAAAATT????!!! Beaten by a ready made pink hat with ready made flowers stuck on the side?? I made a damn beehive from a broken sandcastle bucket and old rope… I made a gazillion bees from pom-poms, sequins and pipe cleaners. The bees were FLYING.
Is it just me? In what fresh hell does pink flower head win 1st place, some bland bunny/chicks effort take 2nd… and the artistry of swarming bees come last????
Obviously keeping a lid on my rage to model good sportsmanship. Internally spitting fucking feathers!!! 🤣 by @jarvissa

And it’s done! Costume complete!
Didn’t much enjoy the six hours spent sewing a spotty neckerchief and a jingly hat… but ridiculously excited to see her wear it tomorrow.

Joke. She’ll refuse to wear it.
