My world will never be right without you spinning it. The strongest, most loving woman I will ever know. May all your pain be gone and you rest peacefully. I love and miss you forever mom.🤍 by @jarynn186

Even with all the ups and downs, love and hate, early morning practice and late night tournaments I will forever be grateful for wrestling. The team is like no other I’m so glad I can call myself a lady comet wrestler.

Sappy Senior Sunday but here we go.

My cross country career may have ended a little sooner than I hoped, but that doesn’t change the love I’ve had for running since the 6th grade. I am so thankful for everyone who has been part of this journey. I’ll start with my coaches who have guided me from a little 12-year-old to now, my parents for supporting me through sickness and health, my friends for always encouraging me, and my sister who has been my biggest inspiration since the day I decided to follow in her footsteps. I have always looked up to her in every way.

This sport has given me some of my best friends and memories that I will never forget, from long run Saturdays and pasta dinners to my least favorite 400 repeats and everything in between.

I am proud to say I will be the first girl to compete in cross country for six years at Chanute and I will receive the tough at nails award for competing on varsity for every race all 4 years.

This is the day I wished to come so many times because of a rough meet or hard practice. Sitting here making this post has me regret every one of those thought. This sport is a part of me and I’m not sure what I’ll do without it.

While this season has came to an end for me, I know it is just time to move on to bigger and better things, maybe even a full marathon 🤷🏼‍♀️
